- About SCSI Pins™
-
- This is a quick hack created because I got tired of constantly looking
- for Apple's Tech Notes on the SCSI Bus everytime I needed to answer a
- question regarding the SCSI pinouts or the signals used.
-
- Two important items to consider about Apple's implementation of the
- SCSI Bus on the Macintosh family of computers.
-
- 1) The MacPlus does not support TERMPWR on Pin 25. The MacSE, Mac II,
- and the Mac IIx support the +5Vdc signal.
-
- 2) Although your SCSI port is a DB-25 connector, it is not an RS-232
- device, and damage could result from connecting an RS-232 device to
- your SCSI port.
